I was seated for at least 14 15 minutes before I finally had to go to the front and ask someone to send a server to my table to get my drink order. They were not overly busy for a Friday morning so I couldn't understand why I was passed up so many times by multiple servers. Once I did get service it was good but more than one item came out cold on the plate and I only ordered three items. When the items were brought back to me warm they had a strange taste and I decided to not eat them. I am typically a person who leaves 20 to 30% tip but on this day I left a 15% tip.

Just like most places there didn't seem to be much help. It took 30 minutes for our food to come out and it was cold like it had been ready and just sitting there. The bowl of soup wasn't much of a helping, mostly juice. The roast beef upset my husband's stomach and the pancakes were dry.

Good food and pleasant dining experience, highly recommend. i Thank the staff for their dedication in preparing the food, serving the food and all employees in between from hostesses, bussers, dishwashers to managers.returned September 2022: fried pickles were great! best i’ve eaten. food excellent as usual. service stalled out near end of dining experience. clean place. i recommend.

very nice food and tasty, the servers are often very kind. prices are affordable. it is good that they have a parking lot for trucks and RVs. but I don't know why other people are so stupid to park their regular cars in the space provided for trucks with trailers or RVs. the parking lot is at least big enough for regular cars. I would love to meet such type of people and ask them if they were born stupid or if they became stupid over time

We had such a great experience here today! The waiter McKenzie was so great we had to tell the manager about her and Victoria was so friendly and very beautiful! Such amazing people here. The special was to die for and my wife hamburger steak was killer.They made us feel really great about coming in and honestly it's beautiful to see people being so nice and friendly in today's view.I have to say this is probably the best family based restaurant in the local area.Plus they have all kinds of cool stuff to look at while you wait! There is literally something for everyone who comes in. Thanks guys for a great memorial weekend meal!

We were seated quickly and our server, Charlea, came to our table promptly. She was attentive and seemed to magically appear with drink refills. Now, I'm picky about my sweet tea. I like it mostly unsweet. Charlea got it perfect.I ordered the fried chicken, which consisted of a half chicken in the standard four pieces. But I'm a fan of dark meat and no, you can't substitute. Bad Cracker Barrel. Strike one.Angel ordered the fried cod. She's a fan of codfish with her tartar sauce and always has to ask for extra. Tartar sauce, not cod. Charlea took our order and returned quickly with my salad.Soon our food arrived. It was ok and only ok. The chicken was overcooked and a bit dry. Angel said he cod was mostly breading. I'm a tot fan so I had ordered the hash brown casserole tots. Highly disappointing.A couple of minutes after we got our food, Charlea came back with our check. We are not fans of this practice and asked another employee about it. Apparently it is company policy. But the check is supposed to be delivered when you are finished eating, not when you are just starting. Maybe I'm just old fashioned. Strike two, Cracker Barrel.Yes, this is a chain restaurant, and no it's not haute cusine. But overcooked is overcooked and why the heck can't I get a second thigh in place of a breast anyway?
