Discover an astonishing array of handmade items and antiques at the Corydon Extravaganza, held three times a year at Corydon’s historic fairgrounds. Paddle Fest
June 3–5
For a perfect weekend in beautiful scenery, look no further than Cave Country Canoes’ Paddle Fest. Spend two days on the Blue River, then relax each evening with live music and food trucks at the campgrounds. With transportation and guidance from Cave Country Canoes, this festival is a fun getaway for first-timers and regulars alike.
163rd Harrison County Fair
June 12–18
Harrison County is home to Indiana’s longest running consecutive fair! This is the quintessential small-town fair with rides, once-a-year food indulgences, and events each evening.
Popcorn Festival
July 1–2
It’s back! Locals hold memories of the Popcorn Festival close to their hearts and, in 2022, this beloved event is returning after 20 years. The Popcorn Festival celebrates one of Harrison County’s biggest agricultural products and the official state snack: popcorn! Enjoy food, rides, a car show, a beer garden, live music, and more.

Now in it’s 47th year, Lanesville Heritage Weekend celebrates the agricultural roots of life in Harrison County. Locals never miss it, and it was recently voted one of Indiana’s Best Fall Festivals!
Zimmerman Glasstoberfest
October 14–15
Celebrate the arts in downtown Corydon with Glasstoberfest. Stop in for demonstrations by glassmakers and other artisans, one-of-a-kind pieces available for purchase, German food, and a beer garden with live music.
Corydon Extravaganza
October 22–23

State Historic Site Real Haunted Happenings Tour
October 29
Tour Indiana’s first state capital by the light of a lantern. Your guide will tell you about Corydon’s rich history in addition to forgotten tales of the town’s past—where some occurrences spookily remain unexplainable. The tour includes the Capitol Building and the Governor’s Headquarters, both of which are two centuries old.

Winter Wine Walk

Local wineries set up tastings in shops and businesses throughout historic downtown Corydon for the annual Winter Wine Walk. Enjoy the beautiful town of Corydon as you stroll to each tasting station.
