Bicentennial Park

Located in downtown Corydon, Indiana, Bicentennial Park is a public space that commemorates the 200th anniversary of Indiana’s statehood.

Dedicated on December 11, 2016—Indiana’s Statehood Day—the park celebrates Corydon’s role as the state’s first capital and the place where Indiana’s constitution was signed. The park incorporates several design elements that reflect local and state history, including three art walls featuring tiles created by Corydon students, water features set within Indiana limestone, and a central gathering plaza.

Visitors will also find outdoor seating areas, making it a convenient spot to relax while exploring Corydon’s historic downtown district. Its location places it within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and key historic sites.
