Lanesville Heritage Weekend
Sept 13-16, 2018
Lanesville Heritage Weekend celebrates over 40 years of heritage for the city of Lanesville with 3 days of family fun. The Lanesville Heritage Weekend festival includes tractor pulls, rides, a fiddler’s contest, a Princess and Queen pageant, live entertainment and more. Visit for a look at the “old days,” with demonstrations in log sawing, honey harvesting, apple butter making, and more. Free entertainment with multiple musical acts and over 200 vendors will pack the heritage festival this year. Parking is free and shuttles are offered at multiple lots.

Dale welcomes fall with their annual southern Indiana fall festival with a parade, food, fun, rides, attractions and more. The event is the county’s largest street festival and is a family-friendly event for all.
Paoli Fall Festival

The historic town of Paoli hosts its annual fall festival, centering around a classic car show. The festival includes contests, food, and shopping in the town’s beautiful downtown area.
Riverbreeze Wine Tasting Festival

The annual Riverbreeze Wine Tasting Festival showcases the wines from Southern Indiana, with more than 30 local wines for attendees to sample. The event takes place at Jeffersonville RiverBreeze stage, an outdoor performance venue on the Ohio River with breathtaking views of Louisville’s skyline and the River itself. Unlimited hors d’oeuvres and live music make this a must-attend.

Batesville Indiana Kiwanis Club is back for its 28th consecutive apple festival, which includes arts, crafts, entertainment, vendors, games, and lots of apple desserts. The entertainment will be provided by the folk band Highland Reign.
Persimmon Festival

The city of Mitchell hosts the Persimmon Festival, seven days and nights which pay tribute to the locally-grown persimmon fruit. This festival has been a major event of fall for Lawrence County for more than 70 years. Fun events include the persimmon pudding contest, a parade carnival rides, special fundraising dinners, and contests.

Nut Club Fall Festival

The Nut Club of Evansville, Indiana has been presenting an annual fall festival for over 90 years with a week’s worth of entertainment, rides, food vendors, talent competitions and more. Held on the West Side of Evansville, the street festival is a celebration of heritage and history for residents and visitors to the area.

Live like a pioneer for a day at Apples, Engines, and Hay at O’Bannon Woods State Park. The all-day festival features an 1850’s hay press demonstration, old-time apple butter cooking and other activities of pioneer life. Admission is the event is free, but the park gate entrance fee is $7 for Indiana residents and $9 for out-of-state attendees.
