Collagraph Printmaking with Kathryn Combs

A collagraph is a handmade print created from a plate made of collaged and glued pieces. In this class, students will learn about the history of collagraphs, look at examples by professional artists, and create their own printing matrix. On day two of the workshop, students will ink up and print their plates, creating a few unique prints to take home. All supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring flat objects (like stickers, textured paper, string, and lightweight fabrics) that you might want to print.
Cost is $50 due prior to class.
