Travel back to July, 1863 and follow Confederate General John Hunt Morgan and his Raiders on this self-guided driving tour. For six days the raiders rode through Southern Indiana, including the Battle of Corydon on July 9, 1863. It also was the only battle in Indiana during the Civil War. The John Hunt Morgan Heritage Trail in Indiana is 185 miles and laid out with directions that are numbered and corresponds with the actual trail sign locations. Tour is free and self-guided. Maps and additional information is available at the Blaine H. Wiseman Visitor Center.
