Typical absentee owner run hotel. Bare bones operation. Parking lot and landscaping in very poor condition, weeds and no stripping on well worn parking lot. Lobby is shabby and very very dated. Furniture is at least 10 years old and looks it. Room was clean by health department basic standards, but excessive dust in corners and baseboards, great hiding place for bedbugs. No frills, just a bed, chair, desk/dresser 21 inch TV. Carpet well traveled/worn. Sheets and bed coverings clean but rough and scratchy from extreme laundering, never mind the towels. Drive another 30 miles and stay in East Louisville KY.

AVOID! Horrible management! Checked in for 2 days and gave them my credit card. The next day, while I was out having lunch, they called me and rudely demanded my credit card again. I gave it to them.When I returned, my key card didn't work. I went to the front desk to find out why. The clerk said they accidently rented my room to someone else and wouldn't move them. They offered me a different room in a worse location at the end of the hall. I was with someone who had mobility issues and stated I needed a room like the one I booked, close to the elevator. They said they didn't have any. I asked about a credit for my inconvenience and they said no.They had packed my stuff and put it in the office. Several items were missing. I asked them to go to the room to get them and they said they couldn't disturb guest in MY room. I told them I expected to be compensated for these items which I needed and would have to buy. They refused so I wasn't going to spend another night. I asked for a refund and they said they did it. I checked with cc company and they refunded and recharged me for the room!I was able to get a refund from cc company. They are awful! Why call me for my cc number you have them not call me to tell me you sold the room I paid for?

Decent rooms with mini fridge, microwave, and hairdryer. Continental breakfast was awesome. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Person on duty was not welcoming at all. After seeing what awaited us, I can see why. Such a sad little room. No art work on walls, toilet seat with gouges in it. Seemed like a lack of pride in workmanship of room. To top it off, the lampshade was stapled to the wire rim to hold it on. One star for comfortable, clean bed. Won’t be choosing Baymont in future travels.

I give the (3) b/c the beds and pillows were good and comfortable. The location is very good as well. close to a lot of things. The rest of the hotel needs work. Another example that the Baymont is slipping in the quality that you would expect from Baymont. We will be looking at other places after this last experience.

Stay here for 3 days this past weekend and it was very bad. The beds were like sleeping on rocks. The bedroom was not cleaned before we checked in. The toilet had fecal matter on the outside of the bowl and had to ask to have it cleaned off of the toilet. The housekeeper did not clean the toilet completely so there was still fecal matter on the outside of bowl. The room has barcodes on the walls that had been there for a long time. The ice maker on the on the second floor had watch mold on the pan under it and the outside of the ice maker was dirty. The last night that we were in the hotel, there was no hot water.The hotel staff followed my husband around when he would have a smoke outside. The last night that we were in the hotel, the desk person followed him outside to our vehicle and then stood behind it for no reason other to watch him.Do not stay here....spend a little bit more to stay at the Hampton Inn right next store.

To be clear I didn't stay. Was given a room on the first floor and when I walked in smelled mold. Saw black mold complete with fuzz on the ceiling so I asked for another room. Was given a second floor room. Floor was loud with work crews staying there that were obviously drunk. Second room was filthy, too so I left. Will probably contact the health dept
