Located at Indiana Caverns in Corydon, Indiana, The Bat Chaser is a zip coaster experience that combines elements of ziplining and freefall in southern Indiana’s cave country.
This suspended, single-rail ride takes participants from a 50-foot launch tower and sends them along a 603-foot course that twists and turns through the treetops and over the surrounding sinkhole plain. The experience is designed to provide a smooth, gliding sensation similar to hang gliding, while incorporating gentle drops and curves along the route.
The Bat Chaser is one of only a few rides of its kind in the United States and the first of its kind in the Midwest. Riders are secured in a full-body harness and guided through a safety check before departure.
In addition to the zip coaster, visitors can also experience The Plunge, a 50-foot freefall attraction located on-site. Situated just minutes from downtown Corydon, Indiana Caverns offers easy access to additional cave tours and outdoor activities in the area.
