“This Is Our Hometown: Corydon, Indiana”

The Historical Society of Harrison County will host the unveiling of its recent publication “This Is Our Hometown: Corydon, Indiana”.

Saturday, April 5th and April 26th from 10-4 on the Indian Creek Walking Trail.

Posters depicting each page of the book will be on display on the Library Story Walk Boards along the trail near the West Bridge entrance for families to enjoy.

This rhyming, children’s book highlights the “unique” aspects of the town of Corydon was written by Karen Schwartz with illustrations by David Wariner.

Each family who participates will receive a free copy of the book.  (In case of rain or high winds the event will move indoors to the historic Posey House at 225 North Oak Street. in Corydon.)                

 The project, “This Is Our Hometown: Corydon, Indiana” project was made possible through a grant from the Indiana Arts Commission matched by the Harrison County Community Foundation.
