Day 1

Morning

Immerse yourself in an interactive interpretive experience at the new Harrison County Discovery Center then take a tour of Corydon Capitol State Historic Sites to learn our rich history.

Afternoon

After dining at one of our downtown eateries browse our downtown. Make sure to visit Corydon’s own Butt Drug’s, a family owned pharmacy with an old fashioned soda fountain. After satisfying your sweet tooth make your way to Zimmerman Art Glass and watch a first- hand demonstration of off-hand glassmaking. The fun doesn’t stop there! Head out to Indiana Caverns for a unique cave experience. Here you will see Ice Age bones and take an underground boat tour.

Evening

Cap your day off with a friendly game of miniature golf at Golf Shores Fun Center then retire for the evening at one of our clean, friendly hotels or the Kintner House Inn a local Bed & Breakfast located in Historic Downtown Corydon.

Morning

Discover what lies below Squire Boone Caverns, where you can be some of the first people to walk through the newly opened passageway. Go from below Indiana to the tree tops and get a bird’s eye view at Squire Boone Zipline Adventure where a zipline adventure awaits for all ages.

Afternoon

Make it a full day by visiting the Pioneer Village, in season, and treating yourself at Boone’s Kitchen & Candy Shop. Be sure to visit Boone’s Mill, which is listed on the Indiana State Register of Historic Sites and Structures, and see how corn is ground into cornmeal and grits.

Evening

After dinner make sure to save room for a sweet treat at Emery’s Premium Ice Cream where you will find a delightful selection of ice cream and nostalgic candies. Head back to one of our clean, friendly hotels to rest up for another day of fun.


Day 3

Morning

Start your day at O’Bannon Woods State Park and visit the Nature Center or hike one of the many trails. Then enjoy a nice picnic lunch while enjoying nature. Head to the newly opened Wyandotte Caves from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Here you can choose from the Little Wyandotte Tour, take a rugged tour through Big Wyandotte or do both.

Afternoon

One more cave awaits Marengo Cave, a U.S. National Landmark. Here you can choose the Dripstone Trail walking tour, The Crystal Palace walking tour, or both. If you want a more adventurous cave experience get muddy with a buddy by choosing specialty underground exploring adventures.

Evening

Looking for more adventure? Canoe the beautiful Blue River at Cave Country Canoes.
