Join us for the re-enactment of the Battle of Corydon at Hayswood Nature Reserve.

Saturday, July 8th

Battle of Corydon Park – Open from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Historical discussions/living history present by author/historian Michael Peake.

Downtown Corydon on the square – 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.
Flag Raising by Indiana Legion (period flag 1863) and recruitment station portrayal.

Hayswood Nature Reserve – Camps open from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
11:30 – 12:00 p.m. Cavalry Demonstration

12:00 – 12:15 p.m. Author/Historian Bryan Bush (under large tent)

12:30 – 1:00 p.m. Infantry speed loading competition & demonstration presented by the Indiana Legion

1:00 – 1:30 p.m. Civil War Medical talk/discussion (under large tent)

1:30 – 2:00 p.m. KY Home Guard Band (under large tent)

2:00 – 2:30 p.m. Gatling Gun talk/demonstration

2:30 – 3:00 p.m. KY Home Guard Band

3:00 – 3:30 p.m. Battle of Corydon Reenactment

3:45 – 5:00 p.m. Camps open for visitation

5:00 p.m. Camps close
