Two fully equipped campsites that can accommodate four people are available for rent at Buffalo Trace Park during the spring, summer, and fall. This is an excellent way to try camping without an investment, or just treat yourself to camping without the need to transport and set up equipment!
The park includes a lake for swimming, boating, and fishing; trails; playground; picnic shelters; petting zoo; and a disc golf course. This park’s name comes from the path that herds of bison took in their migration across the area. Later, the earliest settlers used this path as a wagon trail into the frontier. Buffalo Trace is just 20 minutes from Historic Downtown Corydon.
