Located on the Ohio River in the southernmost part of the state, this 2,300 acre park has a lot to offer with breathtaking vistas and many amenities.

Hike 18 miles of day-use trails in the gorgeous scenery of Southern Indiana. Practiced hikers can go for the 25.5-mile Adventure Trail, a three-day hike with five shelters for overnight stays along the way. The trails are also a popular destination for mountain biking and horseback riding. Grab your swimsuit for The Family Aquatic Center with exciting water features and slides for all ages. The Nature Center offers resources and cultural displays, live snakes and turtles, birdwatching, and living history demonstrations at a pioneer farmstead with a one-of-a-kind, restored 1850s hay press. Bring your own canoe to paddle the 11 miles of Blue River accessible from the park.

O’Bannon Woods has beautiful shaded campsites. The modern electric campground has 234 reservable sites, with additional modern sites for horse camping. Group camping is also available.
