This event is a demonstration of the nationally unique 1850 haypress, which is run by oxen. The demonstration, done nine days each year, takes place from 1 to 1:30 pm on Saturday, September 1st and again on Sunday, September 2nd. In the event of mechanical difficulty with the 162-year old haypress, a special tour of the press, draft animals and barn is given in its place
