For over 5 years now, we've made Light Up Corydon even more special by making it a Girls Day Out.  It started with my daughter Sophia and niece Heather.  Over the years, we've added more girls to the event.  We always start with lunch at Magdalena's and spend the entire day shopping in downtown Corydon.  There are so many great shops here in Corydon.  We make it a point to buys gifts at these shops all throughout the year.  We also make it a point to enjoy the old fashion Soda Fountain at Butts Drugs. 

During our annual girls day, we shop right up until the Light Up event when the boys join us.  What a treat it is for the kids to see Santa arrive.  This year's event couldn't have been better.  The weather was perfect, the Fireworks were spectacular and the Light's were beautiful.  We always feel like we've stepped inside a Norman Rockwell painting during Light Up.  This year was no different.    Watch the video and join us for the whole day of fun.
